Hi @admin, Iâm sorry for being extremely rude during last contest. I was really upset after seeing someone(first hand) publically leaking solutions of good problems. I learnt that cheaters wonât stop cheating, just need to be faster than the fastest cheater.
Itâs ok. Being rude wasnât the issue. It was leaking the YT link during the contest and intentionally increasing the possibility of others cheating. That is why your account was silenced on discuss for a few days.
It also takes time to get the links down. I believe the link you reported has been struck down now, and the channel is removed once we can get a few strikes through. None of this is deterministic either. So yeah, we do things that we can. We canât miraculously stop all cheating.

well you might have removed that youtube channel but there still a lot of youtube channels leaking live contest answers.

I found total of 66 similar solution which I have mailed and there could be more.
Every code has same logic and structure. A function and a while loop used with a label.
Most of these people havenât also changed the name of label.
The names of the variables, spaces and comments are changed but the basic structure of the main code is same.
Many more solutions could be same as I canât keep checking everyoneâs solution.
Please look into this matter asap and take
strict action against all of these accounts.
The people who are doing real hardwork are being compromised here and this isnât very good for the reputation of Codechef.

Even if the cheaters are punished, then also we are not going to gain any rating.
Why is that?
As our rating is not going to be updated again by codechef with the updated rank
@apt_dpd @vedasjad - Ratings are recomputed every month.
After removing cheaters - ratings for all contests till 1st November have been recomputed.
Ratings for all contests till 1st Dec will be completed early next week.
So on every month.
