Its quite impossible to leak the first 3 problems in a Div-2 codeforces contest. Tell the contest link & show the leaked solutions
They manually check all the submissions before decreasing their rating. That takes a hell lot of time. Perhaps, they have already run the MOSS checks but this manual checking is taking so long
man i just saw that some of the coders in div2 global rank 1-25 have the same solution of ALBOFACE,i think it is on the next level now.

the one who deserve in the top 100 will be pushed to rank 300-400,this is bad in my opinion,codechef should find a way to fix this otherwise codechef will be codenoobs since all good coders will left the codechef.

I was going through the correct python solutions in todays starters
And I found these 2 solution

Both of these submitted at the same minute,Both had done all their submissions,In C++,But this one is in python and is exactly the same, @admin please look into the matter

I was checking my senior’s solution for task timer que asked in starters14 as he always cheats so i
checked his solution and here’s what i found
4 AC submissions from 4 different ppls with exact same code( i could have easly found more)

now i wonder how many of div3 solutions are same!
And the same scene continues, sharp drop in ranks and later affecting the ratings. Maybe its time to head to codeforces instead of wasting time here.

that’s why , I stopped giving contest .
you should also stop giving contest , instead try virtual or practice only from codechef
I’m surprised to see plagiarism in INTCONCA, bcuz it was really hard problem. I had myself spent 1.5 hr on that, but luckily I was able to make it. But, there are some guys who just copied it and got in ranks ~200 easily.

jo log ess level ke problem kr lete hai wo plag kyu karwate hai although I know it was not difficult problem but kyu aisa karta hai pta nhi.
Me hardly crossing 1950 after regularly \sout{\text{participating}} (practising) for more than 1 year and these people doing it in just one contest

Yeah bro, it hits really hard, but we can’t just stop solving problems, as they’re fine. As of now, I’m here only for problems, and trying to not focus on my ratings.

So Snackdown contest started on 15 Aug and ended on 19 Aug (just an hour ago).
Everthing was well for first 3 days (15-18). I also solved 3 problems in just 1 hr on 1st day.
But On last day and mainly in last 30 minutes of snackdown. In last 30 minutes there are 300-500 Ac solutions on Problem-5.
I was ranked 360-370 at 8 pm night. and now my rank was 1288??.
I mean I worked whole day and night to find corner cases and debugging errors and this I got as reward??. And those cheaters who just copy pasted solutions got high ranks?? Is it justice??
I was so angry after contest I wanted to literaly give 10^18 punches and kicks to cheaters. I also made 30-40 emails to just report the youtube channels who were leaking solutions.
I am asking codechef admin why you are not taking strict action against cheating. Cheating was popular in codechef from past
Please Codechef take strict action against it Or I will left codechef.(Codechef Was my favourite OJ if we dont include plagrism).
I am revealing some of the youtube videos which were leaking solutions (I made 30-40 emails to just report them and satisfy myself but I request you guys to report just once.)

I also solved the first 3 problems in one go, because their solutions were obvious immediately after reading the problem statements. The 4th problem wasn’t obvious, so I stopped there. I’m not concerned about my rank in the scoreboard, because the goal was just to qualify and even 1 problem was enough for that.

Wait a second. Was it just “1 hr on 1st day” or “whole day and night”? I doubt that many participants really competed seriously and gave their best effort. So your and my rank in the scoreboard is pretty much meaningless with or without taking cheaters into consideration.
Due to just this video the last hardest problem got 300-400 ACs in last 30 min.
So there are likely at least 300-400 cheaters among almost 37K participants. That’s not a big number on a relative scale, though I suspect that only the most careless and unhinged cheaters were stupid enough to fall into this trap.
I think that it may be a good idea for Codechef to take note about the cheaters in the qualification round, but don’t disqualify them immediately. Watching their submissions in the next rounds may be a valuable source of information about what kind of solutions are leaked and shared.

At least, it doesn’t make sense to cheat. Solving 1 problem is enough to Qualify and the first problem is Cakewalk. People who cheated are just dumb a**holes. There is nothing to worry about Ratings or Rankings since the contest was unrated. Worrying about rank is Stupidity 
.

It’s all fun until the next round where only <= 1500 ranks qualify and you are having an 1100 rank till the very last hour and suddenly there’s a spike in submissions and voila you’re out of the competition!
The rating and rank are irrelevant for this one but it does carry the integrity of the contest.

Same with me. It’s just coz implementing plag checks is costs some pennies and codechef admins don’t wanna spare any.

I think that it may be a good idea for Codechef to take note about the cheaters in the qualification round, but don’t disqualify them immediately.
There is a rule regarding disqualification on the contest page under Judging Criteria so ideally Codechef should disqualify everyone involved.
Any participant found to be indulging in any form of malpractice will be immediately disqualified.
