So you mean some people predicted before the challenge that there will a challenge que in next long challenge which will give 99 pts just by printing 110 or the author himself intentionally made a blog on internet saying submit 110 and you’ll get 99 pts.
How did the first person got an idea about printing 110 if it was not trivial ?
Maybe you are much more intelligent than people like me. I knew convex hull but I couldn’t think how will I reduce the area using convex hull. I can just find the area. I cannot reduce it.
I am a lazy person and there are many coders who are lazy like me. And we are too lazy to reorder elements randomly and check area of each one of them and output one which maximizes it. I would rather just try 1 1 0 and see if it gives good amount of points as compared to others. I can see lots of people getting good points and I know most of them are too lazy to do that.
