Codechef Rating Predictor is Back

Why is it showing red for some user?

Ok now I realized that those who will loss rating are colored in red and those who will not loss nor gain are colored in blue.

UPD - I have migrated ccrate to ccpredict. You can use either of the two but I will suggest use ccpredict.

Added search and seed. Feel free to comment if you think there’s something missing and will help in increasing the usability of app.

If it doesn’t predict as it does it will break my heart. Lovely though.

How are such calculations done ??

It follows what is written here using javascript.

I hope it doesn’t. For few prediction can vary but for most of them is accurate. Trying to find a fix for those.

I see it’s different for you. It’s because of challenge problem, leaderboard changes after contest.

Great work !!
add college filters also

It worked for me thanks :heart:

My actual rating is 1891 now but the predictor is showing 1893…
Don’t know why this is happening…

It will show predicted rating only. So off by 2 error here.

Thanks! I was also thinking about the same. This is gonna take some time.

It is showing 2 rows. One is all and other is long. What does that mean and what are the cols new and old for? Anyways good work dude.

On codechef you have four ratings - Long, Cook-Off, Lunchtime and All. So for every monthly contest, you will have all rating prediction and another separate rating prediction for that category.

Old means old rating, new means expected new rating and delta is the difference between the two. I agree it can be named better like the leaderboard page but it makes the table look too wide. For example
