Infosys Power Programmer Interview Experience

This was for Power Programmer. If you think getting a job of higher package is easy if you’re 5 or even 6 star, they you are completely wrong. There is a difference between solving cp problems in a given time and answering them in front of someone immediately after they ask (you won’t be able to explain even your algorithm).
And you “won’t” solve any problem intentionally? Come to your last year mate, you’re far away from reality. If you’re not from a respected college, even for getting an interview of higher package, you have to crack some coding rounds beforehand, let alone cracking the interview.

I don’t care for money or job(I have different plans). And no, I don’t think that stars give you job. My point is that for 5lpa, such good questions aren’t worth it. I do cp only for fun, nothing else

That’s for 8 lpa. Your plan of “not answering” if the package is less than 12 lpa isn’t worth it. You should give your best in every case without making anyone or any company feel inferior

Yes utkarsh u r absolutely right when we r in the front of interviewer many factors depend, 1st interview of our life is very tough for everyone , see when I gave interview of ses ( 5Lpa) she asked write a program to print n’th Fibonacci no. , I know how to do that but my hands were shivering, so @anon55659401 when u have interview in 4th year u relate this … :slightly_smiling_face:

Again I m totally agree with u , instead of 5LPA package and very basic question like Fibonacci no. I gave my best I show her the best approach from naive to efficient and she was amazed …

Arre u said it is SES interview… And ssrivastava mentioned that it is for 5lpa, if it is for 8lpa, then I am ok with it.
About interview questions, I am not good with even easy cp questions, forget interview questions:grin::joy:

Lol :joy::joy::joy: I have ses (system engineer specialist (5lpa)) interview and utkarsh have PP(POWER PROGRAMER 8LPA)

See, if it was for 5lpa…and they ask stuff like:- Tree dp,etc… I won’t even try. You keep your lpa, I’ll keep my solution.

No Karan u know cp very good that doesn’t mean other person / other student also knows cp , u are in interview other person ask to give solution to given problem and u have to solve without thinking what LPA is …?

Arre 5lpa college placement mai bhi mil jaata hai yrr to guys who don’t know iota about coding… Har chiz ki ek value and respect honi chahiye…

I know many people personally who are very very mediocore in coding(even college is not that great) , but have 12-20 lpa package in good companies. Thats why I never settle for less in life. Nor should you.

Calm down calm down, when. U r in 4th year u will surely relate

I prefer not to give any further explanations. I end my part of discussion here …

Nah…ye to ham bhi mante hai par job Lena it a aasan nhi h guru

Placements season…lol
BTW if anyone comes across an opening in Pune, off-campus, please let me know…

1)I respect everyone. And I think you should not judge all the 5 or 6 star people directly. We never know how many of them might be having nice interviewing and communication skills. Having more knowledge is always better than less.

  1. Till when will we keep saying to each other:- "If your college is Ok, you’ll do bad in life, thats the reality. " It does not affect me, but hopes of many talented people get killed due to such statements they see everywhere. So it would be better if we say it like this:- “No matter which college you are in, you can do it if you try hard enough” :grinning:

Correct. That’s what you should tell people who are talented/hardworking and do not have the required confidence.
Anyway, I guess this is going off-topic.

no… the score is how good I was able to answer the question acq to me
