Infosys SES ( system engineer specialist) interview (5 LPA) 2019

Today is my interview for the system engineer specialist in Infosys the package of this post is 5 lakh per annum.
So here my interview goes–
Tell me about yourself.
What is DBMS?
How’s it different from the file system.
What are RDBMS and DBMS? Give ex.
Difference between MySQL and mongo DB.
What are the joins?
Difference between unique and primary keys.

Now comes with coding.
Difference between c and CPP.

—Can u write a program to print the n’th Fibonacci no.
I gave three approaches
A) recursive
B) dp
C) matrix exponentiation ( she surprised by this approach)

What are the different types of errors in cpp.
I told segmentation fault and Stackoverflow.

She asks me when StackOverflow occurs to give an example. I gave an example of a factorial of no. Without base condition. And told it goes recursive and terminated.
She says very well.

Basically ok experience as I expected not so good but I m happy I gave all the approaches for the coding question
Result will be announced tomorrow. Hope ho jaye , hope for the best.
PS : I also know what are the questions asked in the power programmer interview ( 8LPA) …

Reverse string
Zigzag order traversal of tree
Max contigous sum sub array
Sum of all subarray
Reverse linked list
Find whether a loop in linked list
Find whether there is a cycle in graph
Implement avl tree.
Coin change problem.

The above problem are the total problems asked from different students.

I ALSO GOT MAIL FOR INTERVIEW …AFTER HOW MANY DAYS YOUR INTERVIEW CONDUCTED AND INTERVIEW CONDUCTED IN YOUR COLLEGE OR OTHER SIDE.
WHAT ABOUT STUDENTS WHO NOT CLEARED THIS ROUND?
WILL THEY GET 3.6LPA?

How can I apply for the power program in Infosys? How did you appear for the off-campus? :sweat_smile:

Power Programmer and SES roles are offered through Hackwithinfy and InfyTQ. As hackwithinfy is over, your only chance now is through InfyTQ certification exam, that too no slots are available now but lookout for more slots in the app.

I am selected for system engineer specialist. Interviewer just asked one question and I was sure, I will not get it but I finally received the mail from TPO that I am selected.
