Invitation to August 2023 Long (Unrated for all) - 30th Aug

Hi all,

As you know, we had taken a break from hosting contests due to a migration in our checkers. We are now mostly done with it, and are restarting contests from this week.

As a test run, the first contest will be a long contest and will be unrated for all.

It will be for 12 hours, from 12pm noon IST to midnight on 30th Aug, Wed.

The video editorials of the problems will be available for all users for 1 day as soon as the contest ends, after which they will be available only to Pro users.

Also, if you have some original and engaging problem ideas, and you’re interested in them being used in CodeChef’s contests, you can share them here.

There is some internal Problem with the testing same file on different test cases… My solution file is skipped on testcases greater than 1

Fast Fail - "Skipped Testfiles"

Hi all, We have introduced a new feature called “Fast Fail”. In problems which have only one subtask, earlier all the testfiles used to be judged. But now, the judging will stop after the first file where the verdict is not AC. For eg. if there are 10 test files, and a subission gets AC in the first 3 files, but the 4th test fie gets a WA (or any other non-AC verdict), the judging will stop there, and the other 6 files will not be judged. Migration to new judging system

Hi all, We are in the process of revamping our entire judging ecosystem. Due to this migration to new checkers, we will not have Starters for the next few weeks (after the 19th July Starters, which will take place). We will keep you updated on when the contest schedule will get back to normal.
