Invitation to CodeChef May Lunchtime 2020

We invite you to participate in CodeChef’s May Lunchtime, this Saturday, 30th May, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST

3 hours, 5 problems.

We will also be hosting live problem discussion sessions where our panelist, rajarshi_basu will discuss the Lunchtime problems. Find more details here.

Also, if you have some original and engaging problem ideas, and you’re interested in them being used in CodeChef’s contests, you can share them here.

Problem TREE DIFFERENCE was same as this problem CLOSEFAR Problem - CodeChef . Could you please look into this as its solution is just a google search away. @admin

The both problems have different constraints and TREEDIFF has only one type of query.

No, it isn’t. The constraints are totally different(Mo’s might probably time out, I couldn’t find any solution of mo’s submitted/passed in this problem). Also the intended solutions are different.

This one might work here Mo's Algorithm on Trees [Tutorial] - Codeforces with additional constraint that if number of distinct values is greater than max(A) then answer is 0. Also, constraints dont matter because values of array A are restricted upto 100.
