even though secured top 100 genuinely in last contest out of more than 2k participants in div2 but ratings does not increase fast. what’s the issue?

My present rating was 1620 but my rating in this contest started from 1570 which was my previous rating before my last contest. I did not understand why my rating is not started from 1620 in todays contest.
