LOL they think codenation will just see their ratings and hire them… :joy:

Yes, @anon39622507 who is cheating since december 2020 in long challenges hasn’t been penalized yet. He is submitting solutions in every language and changing variable names.

when you go to interview and if you have a good stars then that do matter .the main point is not rank or interview but cheating to those who dont do such things and seeing the submissions rate , they get disappointed on their skills too even though they are far better

“I was searching for concepts related to questions”-
Who searches for concepts/theory of problems on telegram :man_shrugging: :man_shrugging:. There’s youtube/wikipedia/cf blogs for that.

not telegram , google … youtube videos are there to sell . go search for it. dont do save them. this is a problem plz see as a problem instead

Its a responsibility we all have to take. Cheaters are always remain cheaters no matter how many rules and regulations have created. shame on those people who sell solutions for single penny

Why the long challenge is rated?

I would recommend this to be unrated, because many people post their answers on youtube, telegram and other apps too even before the contest ends which leads to the unfair means. Because most of the people who doesn’t even get the idea what the question is about, they are able to solve those questions too. This impacts the rating of other people who solved it genuinely.

This suggestion has been given many times nothing is going to happen. I personally like long contest. It’s a nice initiative but cheaters have made it look uncool.

I see many recent submissions just copy pasted solution from this channel’s videos

Bro almost all are copied (for questions after max topological sort).

He is not the only one , there are many other. Giving Hint(approach) to a solution is somewhat fine…but giving code is absolutely crazy

If someone is very conscious about rating rather than learning, then that person should not participate, instead solve the questions but submit after the end of the contest, I have a friend who solves a lot of questions in first 4-5 days and then submit it on 7-8th day just to check if cheating is done on large numbers and if or not his rating will drop.

So I think participants should take some steps from their end too “to save their ratings”, if they want.

And unfortunately, Codechef can’t do anything else than checking all the submissions and find plagiarized. [Until they make the Long Challenge unrated.]

People who are not so into coding and just want to increase rank to showoff that on linkedin and and in resume do this stuff too much.

How can giving hint be somewhat fine? It’s ridiculous. It is completely wrong.

Densegrp submissions in last 4 hours. There are so many codes that are just copied without even changing variables lol. Same story every long challenge.
