solving problems in different languages tells us nothing. Learning different languages can someone’s task, skills or personal interest. One can solve any problem in any language in which he/she feels more comfortable in writing program.
Competitive programming Platform itself says “You can solve any Problem in any language”.
Please don’t suspect anyone without any proof or logic. Platform itself will do something which is better and an appropriate decision for Plagiarism. We just need to do our own work with full of honesty and if found someone cheating then report them.

You can’t say like this in general, and I’m myself is an example. I used to code in Python initially but since I got to know that CPP is better to do so I switched my language. If I feel comfortable in writing code in CPP then I go for it but when I feel that something is restricting me in CPP (might me because Idk how to use a function), I switch to python and vice-versa. So it might be possible that some people switch language according to the difficulty of the question.
Practical solution for this would be to just ditch the long challenge and just participate in the short contests . Sure , there will be some plagiarism but not to this level .

This is my first contest. I participated in div 3. I solved first 3 quite easily. 4th one was a bit hard but after 2 days I finally got optimal solution. The left questions were slightly difficult for a beginner like me. 5th question was on DP which a beginner doesn’t know well. So I think your opinion is correct…

Codechef should find out such people who are cheating and ban them immediately. Some shit peoples are selling solutions are openly on various telegram groups in exchange of money. 
Please CodeChef do something. We need a healthy competition not such plagiarised contest.

people call Australian cricketers as cheaters and stuff, I guess they never watched Indian coders performing at Codechef long challenges, silly comparison but it weights a lot !

So sad to see this huge number of submissions of [TILESQRS] and [RCTEXSCC] in last few hours for which solution had been released in YouTube. @admin There should be some condition that people giving only long do not get rating more than a given limit. This would encourage more participation in short contests else what happens is that increase ratings in short contests only to decrease it in long challenge as solution get released in final hours.

i know there is cheating in jan long but to make it unrated is unfair to those who have spend their 10 days in solving like me previous time short lunchtime got unrated this time jang long so my rating is stucked

Agreed . Python codes are small and easy to write . In first few questions I find python more effective since it is faster to write … and I need stls for harder problems that is why I use c++

I understand that this cheating should be handled. No need to be demotivated… After all what matters is self progress and learning. Also, I don’t think our rating is affected if some one cheats right, or does it?
