@admin Why does not codechef do anything about it? I went through some of the codes submitted and here is a list of about 100 submissions (must be more actually) that look strikingly similar to the code that is said to be leaked.

If this is not a big enough proof, then I do not know what is. I request codechef admins to please take the matter seriously as this is really saddening and frustrating.
Note: This is not to blame anyone falsely and I have reviewed the codes manually. I do not mean to point out anybody.
Because Codechef dont give a single fuckk. It has lost its credibility. If you are looking for a course on CP go to unacademy

The only solution left is not to see the ratings and just solve questions. If you wanna compete for real, switch to codeforces and increase your rating there
Well since a last few contest you need to be atleast Candidate Master/Master (atleast) , to not let your Ratings affected by Cheaters on CF , and nowadays there is cheating in CF also , and somewhat bigger than CC.
brother even now codeforces is also infected by these type of people⌠but i was too much amazed to see nearly 3k people solved [BNSONSTR] in the div 2⌠

This is very unfair with those who participated in contests honestly. With such cheaters, those who do hard work will get a lower rank. @admin please look into the issue and take action to maintain the credibility of Codechef.
Everyone wants that their hard work should pay off.
I went through a few submissions in your spreadsheet and it seems a lot of people didnât even bother to change anything in the code.
Also, I went through the solutions of WAV2 of some of these people which also seem strikingly similar in most cases.
Bro codeforces and codechef both are different , we canât compare that cf is better and cc is not , also cheating take place in cf is too high nowdays.
@admin Itâs really frustrating, Codechef should do plagiarism checking at least for the contests when there are clear cases of copying and impose a penalty on cheaters
@admin Even a nominal plagiarism checker would be able to detect such matches. Itâs the least Codechef can do to eradicate such cheats.
Plagiarism checks should no longer be limited to -ve rating, but complete disqualification from any future contests. I personally lost all will to participate in yesterdayâs contest after I got aware that the solutions had been leaked.
Due to these incidents, breaking the barriers of 3* on CC and of 1600 pts in CF is becoming increasingly difficult
I think codechef should start that if someone cheats then defintely their rating should drop , but besides who does fair play a contest or invlolve in fair playing for a month/year basis then codechef should start to give more rating increasement or some rewrards to stop cheating , then i think it would work to some good extent .
Means , codechef should start giving fair play award then it would work .

Because they wonât , cheating is not knew in CC/CF , Nowadays admin of none of the two Platform replies.
This should not affect the ratings much as this was a short contest. Like opening youtube/telegram , reading through the code and copying the code should take quite some time. Moreover, the one who is leaking has to solve the problem himself. Hence, the best way to deal with this is to solve the problem as quickly as possible. 
That way, cheating wont affect your rankings
