That is what I was thinking that from when did people had started having so much excitement (more importantly publically spoken excitement) for an unrated round .

I still don’t get the reason for this unusual excitement, would you mind explaining it ?

The college’s club is organising an event , So most probably the seniors told the juniors to write some positive comments , so that more people will participate because they will think that it will be an awesome contest as so many people are saying that they are way too much interested . AND it is a good thing to have more participation compared to low participation.
