No bro …may be it’s your thinking bcz many things u already know , but actually reality is that most of 3 4 star coders don’t know segment tree and it’s uses and questions,now if the contest leader ( like u and other better programmer are there ) tell that yeah here is the link here u learn and u have 3 days to learn for that type of q. ( For eg: in case of seg. Tree instead of just giving problem based on lazy propagation , problem may be give on simple seg. Tree) so that most of programmer get confidence, and they learn more with interest. Esa na ho ki 1month baad chod de.

It’s not true. even u know segment tree u can’t simply just solve problems of segment tree with vectors , segment tree with with bits,dp
It takes time to learn variation’s of a particular topic I think we should create a short contest of a particular topic and try to cover as much as variations of that topic.

I am just advising that when you learn a new topic you shouldn’t do vc immediately but instead solve previous problems with dedication.when you learn 3-4 similar topics you should make a combined vc of them and it will be more interesting
like for example in convex hull trick once you get the recurrence the form is standard but getting the recurrence and figuring out which optimization is used is more tough.so like you study the 3-4 optimizations(like I only now basic cht when I learn more then I will do vc of them) that are there and make a mix vc of them it will be more interesting.
just my opinion it depends from person to person
everyone has to learn something(nobody knows everything).
my advice take part in contests and upsolve (while upsolving if you don’t know pre-requisites study them and practice hard.thats how most coder learn so you can solve it next time)
way of practice also matter and main is problem solving skills with which you can grab any new concept given sufficient time and practice
level1- you have been doing cp since more than 2 years
level2-I have been doing cp for less than a year
level inf-chinese coders who became red in less than a year
