Dear CodeChef, when are you going to take action against these cheaters…?? There is a student in my institute who was doing 1 or 2 problems until last contest but in starters 45 and June Long 2 she has done 6 questions in last 15 minutes…how???
We brainstorm in every contest just to get good ranks but due to these type of people we are not able to rank up…please do something about this :{
But my concern is that in 1star where the first 3 problems are way easier and definitely some users will have used the same variable among a, n, t,b so they are marking this as plagiarised. I usually submit this question in 2 to 3 min in the contest without much thinking, now if I have to keep changing this variable. I am requesting for those 3 lines 1st 3 questions plagiarism shouldn’t be checked it is really worst that without actually copying you are getting the plagiarism

I was wrongly plagiarized in COOK 137 B, for which I appealed and also received an email saying the accusations were false and my rating would be reverted within a week. It’s going to be one month since the mail came and 2 months since my codechef id is wrongly plagiarized. Please look into this issue urgently and revert my ratings.
I have been trying to contact them ever since but still not reply, I have mailed them, I have created a post on Codechef Discuss, I also tried a contact number which I got , but still no replies.
They have also recognized that my id was wrongly plagiarized but still my ratings are not being reverted. How much time did it take your ratings to get reverted, can you please guide me?
So much cheating has been done in this Long Challenge. I was ranked 70 last night and today I was pushed beyond 600 in just a few hours.
Please see to it that the cheaters are removed.

Bruh last 2 mins, I dropped 120 ranks. I see that the treexor question and strict permutation questions have hundreds of same solutions submitted by 3* coders (talking about div 2, there were plenty 1*, 2* submissions also last 10 mins) who all suddenly got the same slumdog millionaire flashback and arrived at same solution. Such poor obfuscation. Some people just added int uji=-1 scoped in a for loop. Some changed the variable names to hindi curse words, Wordplay on their own names or some random bs. I went through 10 questions submitted for strict permutation, all have the same solution. I don’t know where they are getting the same solution, but they seem to be getting from the same source. Hopefully you guys can take some action and ban these people
Positive array also have lots of same submission due to leak on youtube.
Yep the no submission for those two increased a lot in last few minutes and we all know the reason .
Maybe CC can speed up the plag check process so that a user does not see the extra positive delta after a few months. Best if they see the change within 2 - 3 days(atleast before the start of the next contest).
In the last contest, the submission of STRPERM was 2.5 times in the last half hour. In most contests, the submission count increases by a large amount during the last 30-45 minutes. Maybe CC can decrease the length of starter to 2.5 hr, although this is not a permanent solution.

Here I am working Hard to solve this problem from last 2 days and these cheaters copy from youtube.
one thing you can do is stop giving long challenges as it involves too much of cheating and also they are either for extreme beginner or for good coders because the average can not survive because of cheating.
So, will there by a plag check now again, if yes then how long will it take to show updated rankings? As, there has been lot of cheating in July Long as well.
DON’T PARTICIPATE IN LONG CHALLENGES, I have seen many 1star coders who only participate long challenges and now have 3stars. Long challenges give birth to cheating. Also CC should ban the account for cheating it doesn’t matter how many stars profile has cheating is an offense and must be treated like that.
in July long 2 all solutions were available on YT. People who leak answers are really hurting the people who don’t cheat. CC should take down such channels on YT give them strikes.
I hate cheaters
It’s very sad to say that day by day the cheating during live contest are increasing . Today , I was giving Codechef Starters50 …things was going quite well till 9.00 pm but suddenly I was shocked to see that the submission of problem 4 of div 2 rises rapidly from 50-60 submission to 800+ submission within 10 minutes . And the funniest part was that all submission was in pypy3 , the guy who solve problem 1,2 and 3 in c++ was also submitting codes in python .
I hope codechef would look into this matter and improve its plag checker so that it will be the same codechef that was years back , whose rating do matters in company.
