If there were just a ācoupleā then there wouldnāt have been any issue. But unfortunately, there are numerous such accounts.
I am also in favour of reducing time of long challenges to 1 or 2 days as this can reduce cheating to sone extent. And instead of holding 1 long. More than 1 long challenge is good decision.

This is regarding the plagiarism report for the problem CHAOSEMP of April Long Challenge. You wonāt be able to see the solutions now as the contest is still running. You can verify them once the contest is over. I am posting this before the end of the contest so that it can serve as a warning to others. No one will be spared and I am serious about it. Update - All Division 1 submissions have been checked. I will need some time to check the Division 2 and Division 3 submissions since the number of submissions increased to nearly 3 times in the last day itself.

That is literally how the job of detective works. You donāt say, Iām about to report you to the officials if you give me proof of your work. Youāve got to smart about it.
Of course, thereās always the case of OP being frustrated because he got scammed and didnāt recieve the solution he expected, etc. But hey, every report is valuable here.

most of these idiots cheat to impress the interviewers. I suggest @admin to drop their ratings before placement season to teach these guys a lesson.

I too want @admin to check this guyās submissions of this as well as past contests.
He just uses his template and uses the code leaked in youtube. He aslo purchases code from telegram

They regularly cheat in long challenges and you can figure out from their rating graph too.

CC A sincere request to stop long challenges and start short ones, just go to youtube and search boolean game editorial or tree permutations editorial and you will get to know. I hate CC.

I personally donāt take Longs, but there is no reason to stop hosting them. I solve things on my own and wait until the challenge is over to submit or simply upsolve.
Longs offer very diverse problemsets and they are always nice way to practice. If you are scared of losing rating due to cheating, just donāt take part in long. There are multiple short contest platforms, but only one for long ones, so no - donāt take Long away.
Cheaters exist everywhere and excluding Long rating from combined will just hurt the 15-30% people that gained rating genuinely.
This is a very great effort from your side. These cheaters should be penalized heavily for plagiarizing . Plagiarizing should not be a new normal .
